Coming to America by way of Venice, Italy, Irko, the Audio Nutritionist, makes it his business to perfect the sensation of sound.
“I’m something like a sound doctor,” says Irko. “I take an otherwise great sound, prescribe a little more rhythm and resonance, and then send it off to delight the aural senses of listeners around the world.”
With humble confidence, Irko played a role in enchanting the musical fancy of Jay-Z, Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez, Redman, La Miss, Bilal, and the Dilapidated People when he helped engineer various recordings. Likewise, he prescribed his melodious medication to Italian Hip-Hop, R & B, Reggae and other Indie artists around the world.
Irko is credited for masterminding the addition of eclectic “out of the box” tweaks to the 88-Keys masterpiece, “The Death of Adam”. As part of a collaborative effort, his auditory craftiness is taking this record from exceptional to extraordinary.
